My Return
It’s been awhile, well years since my last post. A lots happened since then, so let me catch you up to speed by showing you my best accomplishments within the past few years.
In 2016 I graduated from middle school, I then joined the amazing theatre program in EBVT, 2017 I turned the big sixteen, created my organization for mental illness and bullying awareness “Tia’s Racket”, was “Evil Tina” in my schools production of “She Kills Monsters” by Qui Nguyen. You’re probably wondering, “hey Tiana, what about pageants?”. YES! I still do them, and I’ve done a few since 2014, but most importantly. I competed in International United Miss (IUM) as a teen, and placed first runner up. Which qualifies me for the national pageant in july. I’ve also had the opportunity to do photoshoots with young amazing artists from my school ( Jesse Truminski, Amanda Clark, and Kaylee Scott). I recently did a project in theatre called the “Rockstar Project” where I impersonated Ariana Grande. My youtube is still up and running, 516 subscribers strong. I’m now seventeen, turning eighteen in a little over a month. As a junior in high school a lot has changed, but now that I’ve got you up to pace. I plan to keep you all updated on all things Tia from now on.

Seussical Jr.
This summer I have been spending my mornings in theatre camp. Singing and acting are some of my favorite things to do. It was fun having some of my friends there and making new friends. For four weeks we worked on the musical Seussical Jr. The show came out amazing! We have a lot of talented kids here in Perth Amboy. I am so sad that it is over. I am going to miss everyone so much. This program has motivated me to try out for the school play this year. I can not wait to find out what show they are going to do and I can not wait until next summer to do it all again.
International Junior Miss 2014
I had an AMAZING time at IJM Internationals. I traveled to Virginia Beach with my Mom and Titi Mari. It was supposed to be a 6 hour drive but somehow turned into 10!!! My mom was not a happy camper...lol! My Aunt Angie, Uncle Sage, and Cousin Brandon met us there a day later. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Everything about this pageant was fun. Orientation was like a pep rally where all the girls made signs and cheered each other on. Best orientation I have ever been to. We went to Busch Gardens. What an unforgettable day. There were no lines, we got on the rides more than once. We watched shows and I got to see a show about one of my favorite animals, Wolves! We had a photo shoot and pajama party. I had a free day were we went to the beach. Although I got a terrible sunburn (my first sunburn ever) it was a great day :) Competition was so much fun!!! Fun Fashion was my favorite. I also competed in Evening Wear and Interview. I did not make the top 15 but I had the best time ever! I can not wait to compete again. My Mom says I have to learn to walk in heels first, we will see ;)
LaRed Photo Shoot with my IJM Sister Queens
I had a photo shoot with my sister queens in March. It was really nice to get together with all of the girls. It was my first time shooting with Liz from LaRed Photography. She was really nice and I love all of my photos. I can't wait to shoot with her again.
Nathan Yungerberg Photo Shoot 2013
In November I had another photo shoot with one of my favorite photographers, Nathan Yungerberg. My mom, aunt, cousin and I drove to Brooklyn where the shoot location was. Roberto Feliciano did my hair and makeup and my stylist was Stacie Fitzgerald. They always do a wonderful job. Here is one of my favorite shots.
International Junior Miss NJ State Pageant 2013
After four years I decided to compete in the IJM State Pageant again. I am so happy I did. I was also happy that my sister Kelly decided to compete in the Miss division after not competing in a pageant (NAM) since she was 11 years old. That made my weekend even better. We got to spend a lot of time together and I helped her with her moves...lol! It was such a fun weekend. I competed in Evening wear, Interview, and Fun Fashion (my favorite). I am proud to say that I won the title of Miss NJ Preteen! It was such an exciting moment. I did not even realize that I was called as the winner! My sister placed second runner up and looked beautiful all weekend. I was so proud of her. I wish we can do it again real soon. I will be representing NJ in the International Pageant in Virginia Beach in July. I can not wait!
National American Miss 2013
As always I had an amazing time at NAM this year. I love seeing all of my friends and making new friends every year. This has become a summer tradition for me and my family. Having my cousin Yasmin spend the weekend with us made the experience even better. We had a blast together. Although I did not place in the top this year, I did win most promising model and casual wear modeling. I also placed second runner up in photogenic. I can not wait to do it again next year.
